Grew up running these draws and cornrows. Bryce reads wind, cover and bird behavior to put groups where the roosters actually are — then lets the Labs finish the job.

Three generations of Conde, SD know-how, decades of guiding, and a kennel of Labradors that turns good days in the field into the ones you talk about all year.

Owner / Guide
Bryan manages the 3,000+ acres of CRP, creek lines and food plots that make the birds stay. If a field holds pheasants in January, there's a reason — and he built it.

Guide
Kody keeps the day moving — safe drives, well-placed blockers, and the kind of pace that leaves first-timers and lifelong hunters equally worn out and grinning.

Our guides hunt behind Coteau View Labradors we breed, raise and train ourselves — pointing instinct, hard retrieves and the manners to sit calmly at the tailgate afterward.
Meet the LabradorsSouth Dakota pheasant season. From our 3,000+ acres of managed CRP and natural creek lines to 11,000+ acres of corn, soybean, milo and wheat cropland embedded with tree rows, pheasant numbers thrive at Coteau View. We hunt the early season mostly in corn and milo strips designed for groups of four or more — late-season hunting moves into heavier cover, outsmarting wild South Dakota roosters.
Our pheasant hunting guides. Our guides are true professionals with decades of experience chasing wild South Dakota roosters. They are dedicated to making sure you have a great hunt — and back it up with the best bird dogs in the country. Nobody in our industry offers the dog power we do.
Our mission. We want everyone to experience the amazing pheasant hunting we have built over the years. Coteau View Hunts and Kennels is among the premier South Dakota pheasant hunting lodges, and our 90%+ rebooking rate is a testament to the atmosphere we provide.
